I am trusting God that you are well in mind, soul and body as I bring to you another word laid in my spirit today. Halleluyah!
GUARD YOUR SALVATION AND VIRTUES JEALOUSLY
God wants us to understand a truth, that He so loved the world(without reason), that he gave his only son to die for us. GOD LOVES EVERY HUMAN HE CREATED UNCONDITIONALLY. There you have it, the summary of my message to you!
Why is He telling us this today? He wants us to know that letting our guards down as children of God, is at our own risks. He isn’t going to hate on a person who brought you to a place of pain, shame and reproach because you let your guard down to be attacked. God hates sin, he doesn’t hate man. Once the mercy of God finds a soul who genuinely repents of their sin, they become God’s own and a candidate for heaven instantly. If you are not careful, having a heart of vengeance because you were hurt by any of them prior to their being saved, will land you in hell if death kisses you unprepared.
Put on the whole armor of God for your own safety. Heaven’s race is personal. Guard your salvation and virtues jealously beloved. The one who broke your heart, committed murder, molested you etc is running his or her personal race. Ensure you aren’t a victim of attacks. They may find heaven before you, God have mercy. Be sober, be vigilant so you aren’t devoured or messed up by the enemy. It is easier to prevent happenings than to pray for restoration.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—Ephesians 6:10-18
HOW DO WE FIGHT VICTORIOUS?
It is very important that we study the word of God always. Meditate on the word so we can use this to rebuke the adversary.
Without the word which is the sword of the Spirit, we are powerless. Never forget this for a second.
Our Christ Jesus, resisted the devil thrice with the written word. You just have to arm yourself with the word of God if not you’ll end up a mince meat for the devil.
How much of the word do you take in warrior? How regular do you take in the word?
It is a spiritual life we have and the mystery is made plain before our eyes through the word of God in Matthew 4. If the Son of God had to employ the word as a weapon, then you cannot survive a face-off with the enemy without the word.
IT IS WRITTEN is your weapon of warfare, use it effectively.
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ” Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.Matthew 4:1-11
