TEXT: JOHN 17 VS 20 – 26

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

It is important to Jesus that the World sees one spirit among the believers, Christ and Abba Himself.

Unity in the body is a sign that Christ- the head of the church, was sent by God. This is why the devil will do everything possible to strike this unity.

Oneness is a glorious thing to behold in the Church. The glory of the bond shared between the Father and the Son in whom He is well pleased, further poured into their fellowship or communion also with believers, is one that our Jesus prayed for and one we should continue to pray for.

It is important also to Jesus that we the believers come to be where He is so we experience a greater level of love (John 3 vs 16). This is why Christ died for us and was lifted so He go prepare a place for us (John 14 vs 3). We say God is love but haven’t seen nothing yet, we can’t even conceive the depth of the love He has for His own (Romans 8 vs 37- 39). This will fully be revealed in true communion with Him and on the marriage supper of the Lamb.

When there is unity in the church, you see everything working to the glory of God, which is truly beautiful. You see though, as wonderful as having a church radiating the glory of God in unity is (a foretaste of communion in heaven), It is no where near in comparison to heaven’s glorious fellowship. You should look forward to it. Pray for one another in Love. (1John 4 vs 19)

You should be a part of this glorious communion which can only be possible once you believe. I want to give you the opportunity to be called one of the children of God who will be partakers of God’s glorious love that will be revealed in heaven. Please say this prayer;

“Heavenly Father, I thank you for this opportunity to be called your own. I acknowledge that nothing can seperate me from the love of Christ who died to set me free. Father I seek your face and a new name today as I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for writing my name in the glorious book of life and connecting me to grace to remain steadfast until you come in Jesus mighty name…. Amen.

If you said the above prayer, please leave us a message so we can reach and pray with you. Child of God, CONGRATULATIONS and God bless you!
