Text. Matthew 17 vs 14- 21
Living faith is faith that is alive. So what can induce the death or make us exercise inactive faith?
Having an understanding of the killers of faith will go a long way in helping us grasp the word for today.
Two points worthy of note:
- Our ATTITUDE towards God and
- Our ATTITUDE towards our expectations
ATTITUDE TOWARDS GOD.
Are you consistently following instructions from God on the matter?
How solid is your fellowship with the Spirit of God? He makes you speak and act in accordance to God’s will for the situation.
Do you study the word in obedience? Remember faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Make it a daily routine to read some few chapters. Your faith will increase.
Are you consciously living a life void of sin? Ask God for help so you can speak with boldness and demons will obey. (Acts 19:15).
Faith without works is dead. Take the bold step and not just the bold talk.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS EXPECTATIONS.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
James 1:6ā-ā¬8 NKJV
DOUBT is a very potent killer of results. Living faith knows no doubt. Ask the Lord to help you trust Him with all your heart in all things.
Speak the word. You must open your mouth to decree over the situation. A closed mouth is a closed destiny.
I pray for somebody reading this, may you exercise living faith in all things and may that tiny seed of faith in you grow into something that will shake and move mountains in Jesus name. Amen š
Have a lovely day all.
